Last night that fire was church, the meal I had with friends was communion & God was there. Though “I don’t know” felt terrible to say, it was also oddly comforting. Maybe, that was the sermon.
Know our creator loves you so much, they left a marker in your being.
A good word to carry forward is that our faith can be redemptive, ever-changing, evolving and the source of our nourishment.
Assessing the wilderness means naming who we are, what we are made of and also how we experience one another.
May your table be full of love, grace, joy and acknowledgement of sadness. May your table be open to all and protective of your body & mind. May your table be a blessing to you and others.
Our fear of difference has altered our ability to engage with the gospel in a way that moves forward Jesus’ teaches of reconciliation to our modern day. And so, just as they were then, people are hurting, unable to thrive and ultimately dying at the hand of stagnant, immovable fear of the unknown.”
